About the project
The NDIS is complex. The website doesn’t have to be
NDIS Assist needed a digital home that actually served its audience and did not confuse them. Participants navigating disability support already carry enough friction. We eliminated more.
We started with user-centered design that put clarity first. Clean layouts that don’t overwhelm. Navigation that anticipates what someone actually needs to find. Information architecture that respects time and cognitive load. Typography and spacing built for accessibility, not just aesthetics.
The website had to solve a real problem: connecting NDIS providers with participants who need their services while delivering information that’s trustworthy and easy to digest. No corporate jargon. No buried details. Just straightforward, human-centered design.
Every design choice served accessibility and usability. Color contrast meets WCAG standards. Forms work without friction. Mobile experience is as functional as desktop. The entire experience says, “We built this for you, not for ourselves.”
The result is a platform that removes barriers instead of building them a website that reflects the professionalism of NDIS Assist while making its services feel genuinely approachable.
